AWESOME.

You aren't the only one. I found this program, I almost cried, no lie. It just moves it!

I tried and it tells me it's moved it, but on my Kindle Fire it doesn't show up and when I click on the link in the notification screen it says cannot open file. I guess I'm back to opening PDFs in docstogo and emailing them to my kindle with the convert request unless there's something I'm missing here...

for the kindle fire, it may move into the doc folder, and it also still takes a restart sometimes. I hope it eventually works!

Thank you! I love all your tech info. I couldn't get it to work this time, but I installed Overdrive per one of the comments on your thread and it is AWESOME! So yea! Thanks again so much!

It works! Today all my downloaded fic showed up in docs (where I wanted them) and I tried a new test one and it went right in! Magic! Thank you so much! This was one thing that truly bugged me about the fire, and now you've made it easy!

I resolved that idiotic problem Kindle Fire has with non-Amazon materials by downloading Overdrive. Now I just download AO3 fics in epub format and I don't have to mess with them at all afterwards.

Reading on my phone.so.i.didn't read all.of that with the screenshots, but on my Mac with my kindle I temporarily change the browser download folder to be the kindle, and then just click download and it does the right thing, if that's useful to anyone.
