I've been working on The Yard--when in doubt about how to write Lex in a deliriously happy AU (and God, Suz, you're right, who the hell *else* would freak out when they give Lex The Perfect Life?), go back to where everyone is dusty and miserable and, you know, underground.

At the end of this post, I have a general question.

You know I'm a slut for WiPs, right? So, post post post! Also, it's easier for me at least to make comments if I'm getting the story in small bits, because that matches how much time I have.

It's scary how a level of Lex-torture that I thought kind of OTT while S1 was on the air now strikes me as pretty damn canonical. And I don't at all mind Clark being less of an asshat than he is in current canon.
