But I do have a question-I've read another fic (was it by you?)where the thorns of death leave a physical mark on Alan, and I wanted to know if that's artistic license? My best friend, good friend, and myself all speak Japanese and don't remember this ever being described in the musical (since I called and asked err-one, err-whar) but were we just not paying attention, or is this your own interpretation/flair?? Anyways, I DO dig it, either way! <3

I think that was me who wrote the other fic- I know very well it's not mentioned in the musical and we never get to see any of the Reapers undressed DAMN IT since Eric tucks Alan into bed fully dressed >>;
I kind of pictured the illness much like The Thorn in Blood+ or the Medusa Virus in King of Thorn only it doesn't petrify; the thorns are just a by-product of the illness eating the heart and lungs.
