She hasn't cried since she was six allegedly, at least according to her mother - and it was something minuscule about a broken cookie jar - but she sits now with her back to the mirror, knees crouched and head buried, tears falling down. She's not a good crier either, not like Jessica or Yoona who cry with grace on some twenty-four/seven camera queue; she ugly cries with her nose squished and nostrils flared, tears brimming the sides of her cheeks until they fall onto her sweat-soaked shirt and stain it some more. He hears it all from the hallway, passing by late for his own rehearsal and he tries to ignore it, tries to pretend like he doesn't recognize the hard sobs between shaky breaths coming from the unlit room next to the door he's supposed to enter, but there's that instinct again, falling hard at his stomach and telling him to open the other door instead.
