They were in the courtyard. The last bell of the day had rung and most of the students had filed off to their co-curricular activities. Lu Han walked through this particular courtyard everyday to catch a bus home and Sehun would normally watch from a classroom, dreaming of the day he would be able to hold Lu Han's hand in his. But not today. Today would be different.
"Lu Han!" Sehun called.
Lu Han paused in his walking, to turn around and face him. He always looked beautiful with his blonde hair decorating his small face.
"I think I love you," Sehun said.
Lu Han smiled and ruffled Sehun's hair. "Thanks."
"Do you love me too?" Sehun asked, feeling much more bold and daring than what he was used to.
It was high school and Sehun had received his first rejection.
