Title: They Say We’re Stupid, I Say We Don’t Care

Summary: In which Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi are stupid for each other.

Three minutes after calling Kyuhyun, ZhouMi’s phone buzzes.
driving can’t answer phone sry
He’s torn between laughing and crying, both because of the sheer obtuseness Kyuhyun sometimes manages to display. It’s just like Kyuhyun, really, to do the responsible thing and not answer his phone while driving but bypass all the reasons not to and text him back instead.
So ZhouMi spends the day folding laundry, making dinner, and watching TV-all while half his brain worries whether Kyuhyun’s met with a freak accident yet. He reaches for his phone multiple times but manages to let go every time, and even turns it off halfway in. He counts it as a small victory.
“Hey.”
He’s lounging in the couch when Kyuhyun arrives, and Zhou Mi shoots up the moment the door opens.
Kyuhyun looks up at him from pulling his shoes off and his hair is disheveled from the fall wind. ZhouMi doesn’t get to observe much else before he’s on Kyuhyun, kissing all his worries away.
“Hey, hi to you, too.” Kyuhyun chuckles as ZhouMi lets go but he’s sure the flush in his cheeks have nothing to do with the cold. Now this, this is a huge victory.
