they've been together so long that the words "i love you" become nothing more than little constants on the tip of their tongue's like "good night" or "good morning".
it's easy for jonghyun to wrap his arms around jinki's waist at night and whisper "i love you" without thought. he rests his chin on his shoulder and listens to the steady beat of jinki's heart, breath tickling the back of his neck.
jinki flips around until their foreheads are touching, his hand resting on jonghyun's cheek. their gazes lock, jonghyun's eyes an ocean of brown on brown, and suddenly jinki can feel it again, that fluttering in his chest that he's afraid of losing. and when jonghyun crashes their lips together, tongue meeting tongue, he knows that he can feel it too--that emotion surging back from the land of the forgotten.
for all that words are powerful, it's the rush of his beating heart that they both want when their lips meet. jonghyun's kisses are always needy and often heated, and jinki's are always soft and sweet, but together their kiss is like an unspoken promise. it's stronger than words or thought, because all they really need is love.
