The froggy, overblown yell that Seungri calls singing pauses when Youngbae's fingers encircle his wrist, not tight enough to hurt, but firm enough to feel.
"Stop,' he laughs. "You're getting carried away."
It's usually butterflies, Seungri thinks. Goosebumps, a flip in the gut, a burn racing up the throat. Instead, everything mellows down, soft and slow.
The world fades out. All the cameras he wants focused on him, all the screams he wishes would echo in his ears forever, the neon signs glinting green -- they're nothing to the half-crescents of Youngbae's eyes, flashing towards him for one split-second.
