Welcome back.

I really enjoyed 'Emily Rose' (if 'enjoyed' is the right word, LOL.) I don't normally care for horror flicks in general, but I read a lot about this one before it came out and was curious. It was thoughtful rather than gory, which made it even creepier. (And also based loosely upon a real case.)

Yep. I wouldn't even call it a horror film per se. It's just one of those films that creep you out, like 'Silence of the Lambs' creepy. And especially for those of us coming from Judeo-Christian backgrounds, with the whole inversion of 3 p.m.

I was reading up on the real case, and the way it was reported sounded more like it was a medical condition than supernatural. I think I'll try locating the German version of the film when it comes out....if they bother to release it internationally, that is.
