Wow, brilliant as usual. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy something about Komamura, but it seems I can read about pretty much everyone from Bleach these days.

Wonderful! Wonderful! (I read it earlier but couldn't get to a computer most of last week to give a good reply.)

I love the wistful atmosphere; The painful and tender feeling of a half forgotten memory and the connection between his current existence and his past.

I've only remember one "this is [Soul Society Member]'s past on Earth" and it was done too angsty. Then again it's difficult to do speculative background pieces. But I have to say that your piece has the perfectly mixes of pure fanwork creation and canon characterization.

I wouldn't mind you posting this elsewhere. I could point and say "That's the Christmas/Birthday fic seoinage made for me!"

In fact, I'm kinda going to post in my journal about it and link it. Hope you don't mind.

Ah, I'm so relieved that you liked it! I wasn't sure how it'd turn out, since I'd never written for any of these characters before~ But I did do my research properly, so yay!

Komamura's background could be written as omg!angst, but he's a strong person, so I didn't want him to be characterized by just that. Knowing that it came across the way I hoped it would makes me happy!

Feel free to link to this from your journal! I don't mind at all. In fact, it'll feel like more of an honor that you liked it enough if you do something like that. ^^
