Thoughts: Saiunkoku Monogatari Ep. 25 (WIP)

Jan 10, 2007 12:29

This very badly translated rough summary of Saiunkoku Monogatari Episode 25 is for cilou, penguin_sensei, and hidden_gems. Even though it's not perfect, please think of it as a sort of a better-than-nothing-stop-gap before the actual subs are released. Please do not use nor distribute this summary outside of my journal, though I don't know why you'd want to. (See below.) o.o ( Read more... )

I also agree that Meishou should not get any chocolates! Nor a pass to "go"! -_-;

You're very welcome! ^^ Just think of this as a small way to repay you for your awesome Kakashi sketch!

Hmm, I guess it's not much of a summary in terms of that definition. My English is failing me! Woe! ;_;

Though I may be flailed for this...

♥Sakujun♥

XDDD

FYI, I had to fix the first scene between Senya and Shuurei and some things with the last scene between Shuurei and the two merchant guid people. ^^;

Wow, that's a lot of work.

I watched the ep a while ago, so I don't remember everything. But the major story lines seems correct. Just a few things I noticed.
The tile is "他人のそら似."
What Sakujun (Senya) said when he explained the reason that the Sa family is trying to forth things through with marriage with Shuurei is that once the 'fact' is established, the Kou family has no choice but accept the marriage, since the proud lady cannot marry anyone else.

Meishou is waaaaaay spooky. Actually, there are a bit more description of the confrontation between Meishou and Ensei/Seiran in the book. In it, Ensei's protectiveness toward Seiran is a lot more prominent, and he actually calls Meishou a 'pervert,' and says he got angry because Meishou is still 'making a pass' at Seiran. Well...

Thanks for catching that! I can't believe I put in the wrong kanji for たんにん. x.x;

Did Sakujun say that in the episode? If so, I must have missed it. If you don't mind letting me know where that is, I'll add it to the summary. :) I do recall him saying this in the novel though.

Meishou is just...*shudders* I really wish Seiran hadn't gone through that in his past. :(

Yes, he said so. It's in the scene where Senya (Sakujun) and Shuurei was talking about Sa/Kou marriage.

(K: Shuurei; S: Sakujun)

In a nutshell, what Sakujun said (in bolded part) is that Kou family will never agree to a marrige with Sa family except for this kind of 'concent after the fact.' Even the Kou family cannot demand the girl with the 'established fact' to be returned, and even such a beautiful and proud lady will resign to her fate since no one else will marry her after such an incident.

Thank you so much for this amazing summary! I watched the RAW, and I had been wondering what had made Shuurei so upset at the end of the episode. It was sort of obvious that she had found out that Rin Senya wasn't actually who he said he was, but how did she find that out? Now, knowing that they had just killed off all of the Rin family... it is so creepy and dark to think about it.

Thanks so much for sharing this!
