I am not sure where it is from originally, I believe I found it on Comic Vine or another like site. Lemme look around and see if I still have it saved on my desktop! :)
No worries if you don't, I can go have a look later. I'm struggling to recognise the artist, maybe Hughs, maybe Immonen, maybe someone completely different, heh.
Awesome icons btw, sorry for not mentioning that earlier. :)
Love these! Grabbed two of your Mockingbird icons with credit, will probably snag more later :P Glad to see some Mockingbird love, she's fast becoming my favourite Marvel lady~
Firestar looks pretty cool despite the fact I've never heard of her, any suggestions for good comics with her in it?
Firestar is currently appearing in Young Allies, but her longest run was in New Warriors vol.1, starting around 1990. It's a really fun series that I highly recommend. And if you're looking for more recent stuff, she starred in the mini-series Marvel Divas last year. Hope that helps! :D
Ooh okay, I'll have a look for those series in my local comic book stores then! Thanks a heap :D I'm only really just getting into Marvel so it's great to have some recs other than the series everyone knows! (Especially since I don't know many Marvel ladies yet :/ They don't seem to be as popular in nerdy pop culture as Wonder Woman etc from DC unfortunately. Or maybe it's just me?)
No, it's definitely true. There isn't really a single Marvel lady that's on the same pop culture level as Wonder Woman. Some of the X-Ladies, perhaps, but even they aren't as well known.
I'd recommend checking out Spider-Woman: Agent of SWORD. It was a 7 issues series that ran last winter. The art was gorgeous and the writing was excellent too.
And if you like Mockingbird, you should definitely check out West Coast Avengers, which started around 85 (I think...) It's a really fun read! :)

Where did the 19th Angel icon come from, I don't recognise the book?
