to be fair, the stupid teenagers would have probably seen kill bill vol.1 and 2.

Potentially...however, Kill Bill is now 6 years old. Most of those teenagers were between 7 and 12 when it came out, so the likelihood they've actually seen it? Minimal. Plus, Tarantino appeals not to the minds of youth. If he used Ryan Gosling, it might be a start.
