I'm looking for a fiction where Blair takes a course and becomes a profiler. Somehow he's able to enter a trance and sense the evil/darkness of whomever he makes a profile of. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Could it be the Sentinel Special Movie Project, a collaboration between several big name writers in the fandom? They created the project under the name "Shamans Journey". Blair becomes a profiler in "A Rampart to the mind". The whole series is beautifully written and I recommend it with all my heart. Unfortunately I'm away celebrating midsummer and my phone won't let me paste the link, but you should easily find it with simple Google search.
