The first part of the story sounds like Ever After by Myrna.

I don't rcognise the ending, though, so that must be a sequel I haven't read.

I found the name of the sequels to Ever After. They are "Most Loved" and "Loving Him" by JM Griffin. I can't find them online and I haven't read them, but it's likely they are what you are looking for.

Ooh, you clever old thing you! It's not the one I thought it was, but it does sound like the fic ladyhatshepsut is looking for.

I've got a Word copy of the whole thing, all three bits, if it can't be found elsewhere and the author hasn't said she doesn't want it shared.

Sound's great. I'd like that. If someone has the old URLs I can try looking via the Wayback Machine. If not, maybe we could hook up and go the email route. Thanks for the titles and authors, guys.

Oh, great, sounds like the ones you're looking for - win!

If nobody has any links, and you can't find it online, send me your email addy via my LJ personal message thingy, and I can send you the word file I've got. Or a PDF if Word is tricky. no problem.

Well done you! And thank you - I'd happily send the Word file, but this would be much easier all round.
