Yeah, that's basically what I remember about this story. I think it was long, although I don't remember if by long I mean 10k or 50k or more or less or what. I'm relatively new to The Sentinel both as a show and as a fandom, so I know it was out there recently, but I don't remember what website I read it on. Well, nuts! When I 1st opened this my computer didn't show the comment by magician114 & so I just spent a couple or 3 hours searching my library for this. (Tough to do with over 1500 stories, :O) And then when I finally found it & had to re-sign in to LJ to get everything to work... well, you know where I'm going with this. Wow, 1500 stories! What a great collector. I wasn't sure whether I was right, so I'm glad for your confirmation.

You didn't happen to come across the one where Naomi is a housekeeper who kidnaps Blair as a baby, did you? Someone else just asked for it. I know I've read it but can't seem to find it.

What I love about this fandom is how passionate people are about reading and sharing stories, and you effort for this request is a great example. Cheers.

This does seem familiar but not overly so. I think this might be a story I decided against keeping. And honestly, it's so vague in my memory I'm not sure I'm not mixing it up with other similar stories. Sorry.

Thank you both so much. Seriously, this has been driving me nuts for weeks, so I really appreciate it. You were right. That is the story I've been looking for.

phoenixtairen, I'm sorry you had to go through all that trouble. Trust me, I completely understand. I've done that kind of search with so many fics that I wanted to track down, trying different search terms and key words in order to come up with a plausible selection, sometimes getting results in the thousands. Thank you.
