Are there any stories where Blair focuses on/studies in depth/has posession of some of Richard Burton's diaries or unpublished journals

Yep, that's why Blair has to explain "the explorer, not the actor."

And IIRC, Burton the explorer's wife destroyed some of his diaries because he wrote about sex in them.

An author could make up stuff in fic for Blair to study though, especially since the real Burton didn't actually write about Sentinels.

There was old story where after diss-saster Jim found Burtons paper as an apology gift for Blair. I don't remember more. Sorry. :-(
