 Hello to you all

I'm looking for a fic where Blair marries Jim's female partner on the force. She loses their baby. Blair goes on an expedition, he gets attacked/held hostage? and they think he's dead. Jim and Blair's wife get together.

I've read the story you are talking about, but I can't remember the title or author. I think it's at Cascade Library, but they no longer have a search option at the site. I'll try to remember, hopefully someone will come up with the answer.

I read the synopsis and it sounds like it could be. She writes really well, but this one sounded way too dark for my tastes.
