Not going to name a specific story, but I've always been partial to Candy Apple's stories. They're long and angsty.

Good call, Grey. I forgot about Candy Apple. I already have some of yours made into pdf's. I'm set on that part. Thank you for reminding me who I like. :)

LOL, you're so funny.

Also, don't forget this link

Sometimes I just go through and look at the stories. It's like a walk down Memory Lane. The fandom is lucky to have such a great resource as the archive.

No specific recs, but just to let you know, you can download fics from Archive Of Our Own in epub format for the Kindle. Just click on the "download" button and it will give you the options.

Congrats on your new Kindle! I've been using mine now for a couple of years. It's got more fanfics on it than books. However, you should note that you can't use the epub format on kindles. You can use .mobi, and if you download Mobipocket or Calibre software, you can convert a lot of formats over to the Kindle format.

I definitely recommend Calibre. You just drag a story onto it, fill in the writer's name, click 'convert' and it converts it to .mobi, then click 'add to device'. And if you want you can get a lot of free books either from Amazon's Kindle store or Gutenberg (older, O/P books). I've got over 90 books and over 700 fanfic stories (mostly Sentinel) on mine.
