I just reread Becky's transcript of the episode. Cassie was definitely not in this story and it was just Jim, Blair, and the bad guy down in the hole. I remember the stairs that seemed to go down forever and the huge room behind the doors.

Really? I haven't seen NT2 and I read the story quite a while ago so I don't think I'm mixing them up.

I think I may have read this story, but cannot think of the author or title. As a hunch it might be one of the sentinel virtual episodes.
