Good non-angst?

Does anyone know any good, relatively long, relatively angst free fics? I like action, but I'm open, just definitely not in the mood for angst ridden fics (though h/c and such is okay, just as long as it's not the center of the story or too extreme)

Gen is prefered, but will do with slash.

Have you read Dasha's "Imperfections" series? Gen AU, very mild touches of crossover. Guides are known, Jim was almost killed by his first (very abusive) guide, and Blair helps him cope with his senses, and learn to live normally with them.

Not a lot of action -- more like "this is how life is" -- but Dasha is a splendid writer. Not a lot of angst, though more in some of the stories than others. But a truly excellent series.
