I'm a Luddite.

The story I'm looking for is an AU, very dark, featuring a profoundly damaged Blair who is functionally blind, speaks only in whispers, and wears his hair in a long braid, so he can remember that he's escaped the Bad Guys.

I think the Quantum Leap crossover is a same-universe story by Legion - I could be wrong, it's been a long time since I read either story.
