What a wonderful story. I could really see this as an ep. I loved the way you incorporated Daniel into Blair's family. The artwork was spectacular and encompassed the story so well. Well done both of you.

STORY:

I don't think that I've ever read a XO with SG-1 that I didn't like. This definitely joins the pack! I love that Blair is related to Daniel. That always works for me. :) I love that Jim isn't an overbearing asshole - you know what I mean. He's reasonable and good with Blair and ready to stay with Blair in a new environment...all things that I really love. I must say that the situation that they found on their first mission was really sad. The thought of all of those families and loved ones gathering together to die because of the flying predator (good job on that, BTW - totally scary and fierce!) was very, very heartbreaking. So...well done all around! I really enjoyed this story, thanks so much!

Joining the Stargate program always seems like such a logical move for the guys, especially after TSbyBS. This had an interesting mystery at the heart with this abandoned planet and these giant birds. It would be great to see more in this universe, as Jim and Blair adjust to being part of the program.

I liked Naomi being part of the artwork, showing how she linked Blair and Daniel together.

This was a great lead in to a new career path for the guys. Like the relationship angle between Blair and Daniel, it worked well for the story. Lovely art, Patt. Really like the colors in it.
