Another excellent story, Sheila. I do like a strong and capable Blair! :) And really good to see one of the series' 'bad guys' truly get his comeuppance.

Beautifully illustrated as always, Patt. Thank you both,

Kate x

Sheila, I loved the pieces i read on Sentinel Thursday and I am glad you extended the story. It was nice seeing Blair's survival skills and Jim's sentinel abilities come together - and the addition of Shaman Blair was perfect. Great story.

Patt, your artwork was beautiful. I loved how green the first forest scene was and how dark the second scene was - especially considering how much more danger they were in.

Great Job Ladies!

Yeah, what I posted to SenTh had reached a natural conclusion, but it needed to be finished by resolving who was responsible. I was a little iffy about the 'repeat' kidnap-and-dump-in-the-wilds but it was surprising how easy it was to develop in a slightly different way.

Thanks.

As you can tell I loved the story and couldn't wait to do the art on it. It was wonderful working with you again, Sheila. Great story and I second what the other two have said about the story. Great job. :)

That was a great story. Chock full of Jim and Blair together and each contributing so much to the survival of both. Then the great twist of who was behind the kidnapping (leaving out details so I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it yet). Loved the details on what they did to survive. Great use of the canon characters and I really liked the original characters of Linnet and Robin. Yay for strong, competent women!

Patt, I really liked the various pieces you did. You gave nods to the MC members but also focused on the aloneness of Jim and Blair. The pictures of the trees were really beautiful. I loved the coloring--it gave the impressions of sheltering but at the same time could be ominous, which is so true of the outdoors.

Great job, ladies. Thank you.

Thanks.

Survival in the wilds isn't a theme that I've seen done often, but they both have skills that way. And it all started with me looking for a slightly less obvious use for the SenTh prompt 'hide'... :-)
