Maybe I read too many horror stories as a child, but I just find something creepy about forests...

Having once spent six weeks living out of a tent, I have a slightly different perspective on this question.

HOTEL. GIVE ME THE HOTEL. I NEED RUNNING HOT WATER TO LIVE.

I don't mind nature.

But yeah, a hotel wins over no heat/electricity/hot water/etc. Plus there are less insects in most hotels. :3

Well in a good hotel there are less insects.

My mom has horror stories about hotels in Tahiti. :|

We found a scorpion in our 5 stars hotel room in Costa Rica. My dad killed it with his shoe.

I couldn't agree more. I had enough camping as a kid, give me luxury hotels with jacuzzi!

I've never even been camping, but I've been forced into fishing and other outdoor activities and it always ends with me hungry, tired, and afraid of the destructive power of nature. :|
