The appearance of "sweet tea" in a couple of distinct and unrelated sectors has led me to produce a simulation of this beverage in a coffee shop in the Haight, by mixing the house iced tea with an unreasonable quantity of cane syrup. Coming up on two weeks living in the city, and many lovely new moments jostle in my memory to be the most valuable and complete, but I think it was here that I finally felt a sense of arrival.
