It occours to me that I never actually posted this fic to my own journal or to any of my usual fic-sharing type places. Whoops. Well, I'm bored with studying for exams anyhow, so this seems like as good a time as any. This version of the fic has way less typos than the one that got posted in the exchange itself, BTW.

Oh fun! You nailed the voices wonderfully. I also love that you used the fact that SG-1 snarked a number of Firefly's crew for this. The conversation between Mal and Inara was terrific.

So much love here. That crossover was SO HARD to write prompts for, but it was SO MUCH FUN. Can't wait for them to do it again. So many great fics came out of NOWHERE and were just hanging out there, being awesome.

serenity_gate is one of those comms I really wish updated more. *sigh* Oh, well!

Filling in the prompts took me FOREVER! But by the time I was done I was so excited that I just wanted to write them all myself. *laughs* It was so much fun, though - both the writing and the reading. I was blown away by the quality of the stories I recieved, and there was some trully epic stuff produced in that exchange. I'm really looking forward to doing it again too. :)

Love the crossover. Beautifully done, and it does 'sound' very like Mal's POV.

Especially love that the implication is that it's essentially true: that Inara was, once upon a time, the Orici. (Though does that mean Keller and Dixon were reincarnated, and if so are there all sorts of other reincarnated SG-ers roaming about, or is their duplication just coincidental?)

Thank-you very much. I always have to fight tooth and nail with my stories to get the voice sounding right to my ears - so to speak - and I love hearing that people think it turned out well! As to Kaylee/Keller and Jayne/Dixon, I never decided for sure one way or the other. But if Inara is Adria, that means that the Orici is a devout Buddhist, and therefore belives in reincarnation. And she saw the inner workings on the universe before she descended, so... :)
