Hey you made it work! I like it with the flashbacks and with it just being a little vignette, no need to explain any complicated time travel. I especially love this:

“It may be your future, Will, but it’s my past.” He sees something unreadable flicker in her eyes as she watches him. “I’d prefer to keep it intact.”

I figured that was so much easier, and it still gets the point across without being too complicated. Who knows, maybe one day I'll expand it. LOL
