I support historical figure smex. Even when lol, you look around and NO ONE QUITE BELIEVES YOU. XP And you're just like, no, really! I swear! I--:F Fine, ignore me. XP I'll keep my Old Dead Guys to myself, then. XD

Dude! I have a total Old Dead Guy fetish. It started with either Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great, and then I had this immense love for Joseph Conrad for a while, then Steinbeck and Fitzgerald and Descartes, but I guess I've gone back to my ancient history guys now. Granted, it's mostly intellectual love but I admit I do sometimes wonder how they'd be in bed.

My friends think I'm crazy as well.

This should be a fandom secret. Who says you can't ship Old Dead Guys.

One Hundred Years of Solitude. YES. I read it years ago and its still one of my favorites. I want to read it again now that Im older and my literary understanding has expanded.

It's always been one of my favs. Magic realism is probably one of my favourite genres to read. I like Salman Rushdie as well.

Ohh, reading it again is a great idea. I've been thinking of doing that as well, although not Hundred Years of Solitude. Was gonna try to tackle War and Peace again.

I actually have a big list of classic works i want to read. I just read Wuthering Heights recently. I want to read Marquez's other famous one, Love in the Time of Cholera.

I'm not a huge fan of Wuthering Heights, even though just about everyone else who's read it adores it to death. Funny thing is I don't even know why I didn't like it :S.

Love in the Time of Cholera is also another work I really want to read from Marquez! I heard it's every bit as great as Hundred Years of Solitude.

I can relate to No. 8 - mainly, and sadly, the the last part of it.

Thanks! While I don't think I would exactly categorize Edvard Munch as smexy, I think I would have enjoyed a conversation with him over a glass of wine... or absinthe. ^_^ [not much into dead historical figures, but I totally dig dead artists.]
