Oh LJ why must you be so difficult to customize?     All I want is a simple picture as a header but I can not for love of God figure it out.  I've been to the lj help page and howto and by all means it should be possible at least to make the picture my background.  But each time I try I fail.  I've seen other journals with  picture headers.  Are they

I can offer no help, only the knowledge that you are not alone in cursing CSS and wishing you knew how to change a simple header image (seriously HOW HARD CAN IT POSSIBLY BE).

Apparently pretty hard or I'm more inept with technology than I originally thought.
