"Hey Jim, It's Lana. It's Thursday night and I'm heading over to Caritas and I wondered if you wanted to join me or meet me there. It's my friend's first night working there so I'll probably be hanging out most of the night. Anyway... I'd love to see you again, but if you're busy or whatever I'll catch you later. Bye!"
"Hi, Jim. I'm sorry I missed you. Look... something's come up." There was a noticeable hesitation. "Marie wasn't there - the station was trashed - and we're going to New York City to try and find her there, but our car broke down in... I can't even remember where."
Another pause. "Jim? Could you maybe call me back when you get this? I'm sorry this has gotten so messed up."
"Hey Jim? This is Lana. You were right, class wasn't such a good idea. I'm at Book Haven, but Millie's got me resting and tucked into a chaise lounge with Proudfoot keeping an eye on me. I'm okay, really, just my head's pretty miserable. I'm good here, though. Millie's taking great care of me and I think maybe I can even sleep pretty well here."
There was a pause. "If you wanted to come get me and bring me home tonight, that would be nice, though. Love you."
"Mr. Ellison, this is John Winchester. You've missed three classes in Fandom Invasions. Please stop by my office to discuss these unexplained absences and your continuing enrollment in my class."

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not who you thought I was. Congratulations on failing to use the phone."
