This is ill-researched and reactionary. First of all, MOSI is as equally threatened with closure as the other museums in the Science Museum's family - which includes the Media Museum in Bradford and the Railway Museum in York. All these museums (including London, actually) are being seriously threatened as a result of our idiot tory-twat government slashing the funding by millions of pounds. We should not be wasting time petitioning about individual museums, but the funding for these museum groups as a whole. MOSI is the Science Museum, and I'm sick of frankly stupid people on the internet making petitions that imply otherwise. It's not a case of "so London can stay open" -- this is a childish, naive response. It's "so the group as a whole can continue to function ( ... )

I don't think being abusive ever gets anything changed. And if you looked at my other blog you'd find it hard to maintain that I'm anti-London.

BTW my loathing of the present Govt knows no bounds. Nice that we agree about something. Apart from the fact that I'm childish and stupid, of course.
