Nope, I beat him pretty badly. =) And I swear, if I didn't know you went to Hyotei, I'd think you were a Rikkai alum! I didn't realize we had such...enthusiastic fans.

I did sign up for the spring training program, just so you know. And the amusing thing for me was when what I was told what my stipend for spring would be *after* I signed. I guess they do it so people won't be deterred by the lack of money, but...it's more than what I'm making now. I think they were shocked by that. Not a *lot* more, but still.

It's actually just the opposite as to why they announce the stipend after you sign. If it gets out before, we'd have people who would be applying for the program strictly for the money, and we'd like to have people who actually want to do the work.

Well, I'd think those people would mostly get screened out. It's hard to do, even if you're prepared for it mentally. I'm almost looking at this as preperation for my future, since this is how I plan on making my living, possibly.

There have been horror stories. They started tightening the screening when I was going through spring training, and the effects showed during winter selection. We have a lot of psychology majors, so I think that's what you guys go for. It's...interesting.

On the other hand, only two of us are education. Go figure.
