You beat me to it. :-) We went and had a look at the clock today. The grasshopper is very cute - needly little teeth, blinking eyes, flickering metal tongue - but the blue LEDs totally ruin the whole thing. It looks a bit like a Regent Street Christmas decoration.

Still, nice grasshopper.

Someone just sent me the link for the PA video of the unveiling - added it to the entry.

They should really get some scale models of the thing into the shops before Christmas.
