Hardly surprising. It's not as if Ford was very busy in recent years. I wonder if Lucas has already decided in which part he'll kill off his character so that LaBeouf can take over. ;)
I found this recent "news" item interesting. Probably actively spread to raise interest for the movie (since they don't really seem to have a proper media strategy). But I have to admit it almost worked for me. ;)
*G* Truth be told, there's so much associated "product" now ready to hit the stores, I don't think they need a strategy. And despite the inevitable misgivings about the film already bubbling in the press* I can understand Lucas' relaxed attitude (in stark comparison with Spielberg's), since it'll more or less sell itself.
*Most of which, it seems, aren't even based upon any viewings of the leaked workprint of the movie - a subject which became one of the best 'Net-based April Fool's jokes this year in some circles, even if Spielberg was (allegedly) apoplectic about the whole business. I'm sure Lucas just thought it was time to buy MegaUpload. ;o)
