Hello, hello! Welcome to senpai_exchange, a new exchange designed for those of us with tastes a little bit older than the rest of fandom.
That's right, finally an exchange with an age restriction!
Our basic rules
1. Fics must focus on one or more members of "senpai" groups (older than Arashi) signed to Johnny's & Associates.
2. Fics must be at least 1000 words.
3. Fics must be beta read.
4. Keep your wank at home. :)

Who're senpai? Who can I write about?
For the sake of this exchange, "senpai" is a member of any group who debuted previous to Arashi, which means everyone up to and including KinKi Kids are accepted.
Members of senpai groups are the focus of this exchange. You may include the kouhai in your fic, but they cannot be the focus. That means:
Aiba complaining about Taichi not showing up at golf to his groupmates? Not okay.
Taichi getting revenge on Aiba for telling the story on TV with the help of Nakai? Okay.
Taichi telling the story to TOKIO and revealing that he didn't go because he was surrounded by naked women, then proceeding to go into lurid detail when Nagase presses him on it? TOTALLY OKAY.
What about drama characters?
Totally acceptable so long as the "senpai-centric" rule still applies (for example, writing about Gussan’s character in Dousoukai going about on a wild night of gay fun would be totally acceptable, or about the adventures of Makki and Sakuranantoka Sakurakoji in college while Kazuya rages in secret, totally cool. A Bartender fic with Leader’s character mentioned once in passing? Not cool, sorry!). However, you CANNOT request only drama!fic.
What is not allowed?
WANK. Unless you're writing wankfic, in which case go right ahead.
What is required?
All fics must be at least 1000 words and beta read. If you have issues finding a beta, let us know and we'll help you out!
How do I submit?
By the due date, send an email to us at senpaiexchangemod@gmail.com with a text document attached (or a Word doc, or an rtf, someone'll be able to open it) with html. We suggest making a private entry or previewing it in your own journal in order to make sure your html isn't broken. Then, we'll take care of the rest. :)

What happens if I have to drop out?
Real life happens, to your mods most of all. We get it. So long as you email us (or PM us or send us a smoke signal…) before June 10th so we can procure a pinch hitter for your recipient, it's all good. Do keep in mind that if you don't let us know, we're put in a tight spot, and your participation next cycle may be in jeopardy.
