I don't count the official start of Christmas break until I'm done grading. I finished yesterday (after spending roughly four hours grading atrocious Odyssey persuasive essays) and just posted my grades for the semester. Now I can begin enjoying my Christmas break. I love it when half the class up and decides they aren't going to turn shit in. AWESOME. Also, that's an incredible gift from your students! I am jealous...I got a Christmas card this year but that was it. Seems kids up here are stingier with their presents. Or nobody likes me. Either way.
