We seem to have a number of musicians in the neighborhood. I'm just now hearing someone practicing drums in their garage - maybe the kids who have a punk band on the corner of the next block. I shouldn't say kids - they're probably in their mid-twenties. And the lead singer from a fairly well-known band bought the house at the end of my block

They bought that house from one of my mom's high school friends. I used to go swimming there in the summers when I was a kid. Small world, no?

I mean, unless there is another rock star living in that area. Which I suppose isn't totally out of the question...

Hmm, this was one of those tear down/rebuild jobs, and I don't think the prior house there had a pool - at least I don't remember any pool sounds coming from behind the big white fence that was around the whole property. There's one there now, but it was only put in recently.

This whole neighborhood has gotten so damn "prestigeous" (as the real estate fliers that get shoved through my mail slot say) I guess they aren't bothering with the gated communities anymore. Considering the city manager of Bell lived two blocks away as well, I guess I wouldn't be surprised if more than one well-known performer lived in this neighborhood too.

Yeah, who knows. There was a big fence around this place, and there probably haven't been any actual pool sounds for at least 10 years. But I do know of at least two other rock stars in the area, now that I think back to Dasan's school friends from back when we were still living in the area.

I guess HB is where rock stars go to raise families...

Heh, the t-shirt a couple of posts ago should have warned me. He even had long blonde hair at one time - but not since he was about three.

And so much for the Paper Jamz guitar he so desperately wanted for Christmas. It only plays chords, so it's been abandoned in the corner.
