Chad had really hated to have done it but, still feeling the full force of what he was convinced was the world's worst hangover, he had skipped music club do just go back to his room and hope that the pounding in his head would lull him to sleep. Agnes had been a little worried by the note he left in music club, so she knocked softly on the door. "Chad? I brought you some tea."

If Chad wasn't feeling like sticking his head in a vice for three hours would be an improvement, he might been a little amused by how Agnes' knocking caused a harmony of more knocking inside his skull.

Of course, at this point, he didn't even know it was Agnes by her voice. It was just knocking. And the word tea.

He groaned, not lifting his head from the pillow because that would be painful, and hoped whoever had the tea heard it and would come in.

Of course, now Chad realized that even if they had tea, he'd have to get up to drink it.

Curses.

Agnes tentatively opened the door a crack and peered in, and then hurriedly stepped inside and shut it again when she saw Chad's state. "Oh. Oh, dear. Oh, my. Here, drink this."
