I try to write my thoughts by episode, but I think I've most likely mixed the events of the two episodes together. So I'll put them all in the same cut-tag.
^^;; I completely forgot about the audition. However, I was thinking more along the line of a formal band, and I actually don't know if that had happened. (Strangely, I've never associated D-BOYS with a boyband, though I've heard it's a common mistake.)
(...Then again, I suppose if it's part of the audition, Igarashi probably had to sing better then than he did in Shigeshoshi. Or perhaps singing is a new requirement?)
I've sadly forgotten about that part, so thanks for reminding me. But I'll forgive that (and a few other departures from his own ethics) anyway. After all, I think a character wouldn't be very interesting if he doesn't have any flaw (though I know Nago has plenty already) nor make any mistake.
Ah, yeah, Nago being killed sounds very possible. As far as past series go, this kind of character tends to die unnaturally. (Not that I really want to see that kind of fate await Nago either.)
I'll be curious to know what that traumatic experience was. There didn't seem to be much on Nago's past (that I've seen anyway).

From what I understand singing is supposed to be part of the audition. *tries not to think too much about Igarashi in Shigeshoushi*
