I think I'm also fonder of Yuko than Seiji and I'm hoping she gets a bit more focus later as she is great. (Also Noriko and her explosive jewellery, I love that) Having done some rewatching I think I know I why stopped watching for a bit: Seiji smacking the guest of the week in the face while they're arguing. :/ He has reason to be angry with her but that's no reason to slap her. :/ I went off him after that. Seriously, dude, not cool. YUKO ALL THE WAY PLZ.

That said, I enjoy the concept of Yapool and I love how Mebius used it in the Ace tribute ep. (Though I'm a little sad that possessed-Ryuu didn't get the creepy make-up that the kid possessed by the same monster did back then but that would have been great.)

I don't know exactly what went on behind the scene, but real life feedback seemed to dictate the amount of Yuko's role. Which is a shame, since she is probably my most favorite out of all of them.

That scene took me back, too. But then I realized that this series was made back in 1972, so I am a bit more forgiving. (Still don't like that he never apologized to her (nor even considered that he might be in the wrong for hitting her), however. Never mind that this woman was not totally innocent either.) I'm sure no hero nowadays would get away with slapping a stranger's face like that.

Hmm...so Vakshim was in that episode with possessed-Ryuu? (Somehow I thought it was in a later episode -- Mebius rewatch is soon in order.) But, yeah, it would have been neat if he got the same creepy make-up that kid got (more nod of continuity is a good thing, imho). ^^;;
