Wow, that's a lot of stuff you're planning to rewatch XDD I can completely understand you, I also somehow want to try new things, but end up rewatching old ones instead...
Well, part of that is I don't like to step outside of my comfort zone all that much. I would rather rewatch old things I know I like than try new things I might not know whether I'll like. And that is especially true in this case. Ultraman is familiar to me (in fact, my first introduction to tokusatsu), so I guess it's natural that I keep coming back to it.
Anyway, it's actually not a lot of stuff that I'm planning to rewatch. ^^ Only three series I know I like, so that will be a breeze. Whether I rewatch the other series depends on how I feel later on. (There is not much discussion on Ultraman stuff, if any, so I know I might quickly lose my enthusiasm.)
Lol, well, 3 series seems like quite a lot to me, I hardly ever rewatch stuff XDD
I suppose I see what you mean about the comfort zone, but then again, it is still fun to discover new things. And you can always drop the series if it turns out it was not quite to your tastes XD
Yes, it is fun to discover new things. And I did that (watching new stuff) during the past few years. So, I suppose, for me, the act of rewatching is a new thing in a way since I haven't been doing that. Also, I usually notice new things (some observations/thoughts I overlooked before) upon rewatching. ^^
