Is the 'Ff' a bit of welsh that just looks strange to English eyes, or a typo? :-)

It's Welsh. Ff=/f/ and f = /v/ in Welsh (as in the English off and of. But I've never found an official Welsh name for my street name. Cardiff's a bit inconsistent on that. (But there are places where there are separate streets which are translations of each other so you can't be bilingual with those).
