I think it's going to be one of those days - I've spilt Coke on my nice Kensington Expert Mouse Pro, and whilst I've followed the appropriate procedure (drain, rinse, leave in warm place) my experience is that many pieces of hardware fail to survive this... :(

Ouch. Coke is about the very worst stuff to spill on electronics, because the acids in it will eat insulation, and the sugar in it will keep it stuck to the insulation while it does so.
