I assume they couldn't spoil who are going to be the remaining playable characters.
Plus only the characters who have a story mode end up clearly aligning with of the three factions you see in the video.

You get:
1) Tiger display car - the Western Army - Mitsunari, Yukimura, Sasuke, Shingen, Ootani, Motonari, Motochika, Shimazu, Muneshige, Kanbei, Kobayakawa

2) Dragon display car - the Eastern Army - Ieyasu, Masamune, Kojuurou, Keiji, Magoichi, Tadakatsu, Fuuma, Yoshiaki, Sorin(?) Tsuruhime

3) Volcano (?) display car - the Let's Watch the World Crash and Burn faction - Nobunaga, Oichi, Tenkai and Matsunaga

Kasuga, Kenshin, Toshiie and Matsu are pretty much as neutral as you get. They never join either side in the original SB3 and since they won't be getting a story mode, they won't be joining any faction in Utage either.

Which still makes me sad, Why can't we have a Couple's Car show up?

I was so hoping to have Kenshin leap off of Masamune's float and lunge after Shingen, with Kasuga following.

I'm still not feeling the song. IMO it lacks energy, especially considering it's supposed to be a "festival".

The opening video is still absolutely stunning, though.

I guess Daisuke didn't get the memo that "Utage" is a happy thing. Then again... yeaaaaa....
