The following is a repeat of what I posted over at my livejournal account.
Mission (finally) accomplished!
I got the chance to meet and talk with Sendhil for a couple of minutes at Fan Expo in Toronto. He was incredibly gracious (even my friend, who never watched the show, said afterwards how nice he was) and put up with my stammering to answer a

I love how he speaks about Heroes, and well I think we all agree with him that S3 was when he went wrong.
Thanks for the panel recap, he is so damn lovely I always feel like I'm repeating myself but he is! Also completely gorgeous in his glasses.
Super excited for the finale now woo!
So yeah THANK YOU!

It was great to hear him in person speaking about "Heroes" and thoughtfully, politely, acknowledging the good and bad that came with the show. He was never dismissive about it, but could be a bit snarky.
At one point someone asked him how he'd like to see the show end (if he had his say) and he wanted them all to do something heroic, "like save someone again, save the world again, hell, save a cat...I mean, the show is called 'Heroes' and given what they've been through, it would be nice to have them all do something heroic."
I'm curious about the graphic novel now and what the writers had planned for the show. Sendhil said that, from what he heard, it sounded like it would be getting a bit more on track with the original vision of the show.

The autograph thing makes me a bit sheepish and shy, but I'm really happy Sendhil now knows he has fans out there, something I'm not sure he ever really noticed before. That makes me really happy. :)
Oh my god a play. *crosses everything* I hope he does one, I need to see it.
P.S. That signed picture should be on your profile...

I can tell you, he was quite bashful at the notion of this comm, but also totally flattered and appreciative. The impression I got was that it meant a lot him.
If he does a play I think we all need to go :-)
Hmmm, I should think about making that my profile picture.

@The Mohinder stuff: I'm glad to here some polite honesty and that he tried to fight for the character, but in the end, the actors can't really have much control, right? :( If only the actors and the fans were writing. (You should have asked him about his beard!Mohinder story lol)
The question was what the writers had planned for season five and in his sexy accent he said, “If I told you I’d have to kill you” then in his regular accent said he’s not allowed to say anything because it might become a graphic novel.First of all, mega-LOL *loves him moar*, but I'm actually surprised no body else has been saying that the wrap up might come in the form of a graphic novel until now. Heck, I didn't even think of that possibility until now, but when you sit and think about it, it really does seem like the most likely option ( ... )

It's interesting to hear someone's honest opinions of Heroes' later seasons... and I'm really quite fascinated that Sendhil appears to share everyone's views and preferences.
“I am so happy [with Covert Affairs]” and he said it with such genuine happiness and relief.
;_________; You deserve it and don't you ever forget that!
Thinking back to how frustrated we were last year... less than a year ago...
Exactly one year ago we were being heartbroken over the 4x01 press release that did not mention Mohinder. That we're in such a different situation now is really quite a miracle, and I can't begin to imagine how happy Sendhil must be about all of this. Since, you know, it's his life.
Thanks so much for this write-up, and for asking him great questions, too! <3

Yeah, I know! I remember feeling torn between wanting him off the show, because of the terrible treatment he was getting, and being worried that he wouldn't be able to get another job if Heroes got cancelled/killed Mohinder off, because there aren't a lot of roles out there for Indian actors. I'm so glad he's found another steady gig.

And by the end of Heroes I was worried if anybody involved in the show would ever be taken seriously again! XDD
I mean... Adrian's doing a SyFy movie, for God's sake! D:
