That's super cool! Do you feel like some sort of fairytale character when you spin? Like that girl in Rumplestiltskin?

A little. Though the fairy-tale spinning wheels are more like this.

It would be cool if I could spin straw into gold, though.

Thanks! It actually wasn't as even as it looks in the picture. But I managed to turn it into a hat, anyways (well, it almost was enough, and then I had some of the same merino spun from my drop spindle and I used some of that for the last few rows.)
