Summary: Takahashi Shako, a normaly student with normal friends, who goes to a normal school and normally loses her wallet...O_O yes, it's normal to lose a wallet. A girl who is cursed with bad luck in love has struck gold when a boy returns her wallet.....i apologize for such a bad summary.
Chapter 15
“Please, let’s get back together” Atsuko pleaded to Daiki. He was stunned. He didn’t know what to say… but he knew he had to make things right. There was a long silence before Daiki said something.
“I’m sorry. I already have someone special. I’ve been ignoring her lately and I hope she’ll forgive me for it. I can’t get back together with you. I’ve moved on. I have Shako now.” Daiki didn’t want to look at Atsuko or he would feel even worse about having to turn her down.
“Ah…I see…what was I thinking? It’s been more than five years. How could I expect that you’d still be single?” She was holding back her tears. “Oh…look at the time…I’ve got to go….” She got up off the swing and ran home.

School started again. It was about a week into first week back when Shako was leaving school and she saw Daiki at the gate waiting for her. Instead of greeting him, her walking pace sped up and she moved right past him.
“Shako! Wait for me!” Daiki was jogging up to Shako and grabbed her wrist making her stop in her tracks.
“What the hell do you want?” she turned around angrily, glaring at the guy before her. He hadn’t talked to her for weeks. Even when he tried to call her, she would just reject her calls. Daiki even tried to visit her apartment a few times. Every time he would ring the bell and end up standing there for at least a half hour before deciding to go home. He must have really messed up. But when?
“Why are you ignoring me Shako?” He pleaded for an answer.
“Why am I ignoring you? Why am I ignoring YOU? You’ve got to be kidding me Daiki!” she called him Daiki, not Dai-chan. “YOU’RE the one who’s been ignoring me! I saw you with her Daiki. Satoda Atsuko. And another girl too. So it’s not enough to cheat on me once? But twice?”
“Eh? Cheat on you? Twice? What in the world are you talking about Shako?” Daiki noticed that people were starting to stare at them. “People are looking, follow me.”

Daiki pulled Shako to his house.
“Let me go Daiki!” she was trying to pull away.
“JUST SHUT UP AND FOLLOW ME!” For the first time ever, Daiki lost his temper with Shako. She was so surprised that she was quiet and just walked behind him. He didn’t let go of her hand and instead, his grip tightened. Her hand hurt, but she didn't want to say anything. Daiki scared her.
Once arriving at Daiki’s house, Shako realized that there was no one there except the two of them. Wasn’t Daiki’s parent’s supposed to be home a lot? He pulled Shako to his room and sat her down on the chair.
“First. I am not cheating on you. Atsuko wanted to get back together but I turned her down because I have you! She’s clingy so I can understand that you’d be jealous but trust me more! I told you before that I loved YOU right? If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be with you!” he explained himself.
“Fine, so you’ve proven that you’re not with Satoda-san but what about the other girl?” Shako wasn’t fully convinced.
“Other…girl? I don’t…know any other girls…”
“But I saw you holding hands with someone a few weeks ago…she was even sitting on your lap…and you two were at the jewelry store…”
“What?” Daiki’s eyes widened and he burst out laughing. “THAT WAS A GUY! I was hanging out with Chinen Yuuri one of my close friends from school! I told him he looked like a girl!” He couldn’t stop his laughter. Shako just sat there confused until she realized that she made a stupid mistake. She started to laugh too.
“So do you believe me now Shako? I love only you and that’s how it’s always going to be. Wakatteru*?”
“Un!” she was relieved yet blushing at the same time.
“Hmm...” Daiki didn’t realize it but he was kneeling in front of Shako holding onto her knees. He suddenly reached up and kissed Shako. She was shocked of course but still kissed him back anyhow. Daiki stood up and walked over to his desk. He opened t he drawer and rummaged through a few things before he pulled out a box. He walked back over to Shako.
“I was going to wait to give this to you on your birthday…but I might as well give it to you now.” Daiki opened the box. Inside were the two rings he bought weeks ago. He took one of the rings and put it on his ring finger on his right hand. “Now all girls will know I belong to you. No one can steal me nee? Not that I’d let myself be pulled away from you.” He took the other ring and put it on Shako’s finger. She was silent and simply watched Daiki. He put the ring on Shako’s ring finger and her eyes widened.
“Dai-chan! Wrong hand!!! We’re not getting married!!!” He accidentally put the ring on her left hand. He was facing Shako so he was confused. Daiki chuckled and stood up.
“So? Then no other guys will steal you for sure! They’ll know that you’re mine.” He pulled Shako up from the chair and he suddenly hugged her.
Shako blushed. “Dai-chan arigatou. I love it....but you do know I’ll have to put it on my right hand…”
Daiki chuckled again, “Hai hai!” he moved away from Shako to switch the ring from her left hand to her right one. Once he finished, he hugged her again.
“I’m glad. I thought that everything was going to end. I don’t know what I would do without you Shako.”
“But you’ve been avoiding me lately Dai-chan…”
“About that….it’s a secret…just trust me okay?”
“Sure.”
A/N- wth?! I stayed up until 1:40 AM writing this chapter O_O Wow…It’s raining so hard today.. (lol I say this 13 hours later..) I firmly believe that everytime my mom wants to barbeque it’s like the skies are suddenly angered and it rains. So…plans for the next chapter…a few other hsj members are going to be introduced! SUMMER SCHOOL IS FINALLY OVER!!! Comments and Criticisms are love <3
