Lovestruck Chapter 5

Summary: Takahashi Shako, a normaly student with normal friends, who goes to a normal school and normally loses her wallet...O_O yes, it's normal to lose a wallet. A girl who is cursed with bad luck in love has struck gold when a boy returns her wallet.....i apologize for such a bad summary
Chapter 5
After than one encounter, Daiki had gone over to Shako’s house every day after school. Shako, who had secretly liked Daiki, pretended to give up trying to prevent him from coming in order to hide her crush on him. They spent weeks together doing their homework together, flailing over new album releases and just goofing off together.
One day Shako was leaving school. “Ja nee Chisa! Mata ashita*!” she waved good bye to her best friend who had cleaning duty.
“Sayonara!”
Shako walked towards the gates of the school saying her good-byes to her other friends and classmates. She caught Hiroto and Maki in the halls and they all walked towards home together. When the three walked off school property, Shako saw Daiki waiting outside of the school.
“Ah, Dai-chan konnichiwa,” Shako said like it was a normal thing that a guy waits outside of your school.
“EHHHH?! ‘DAI-CHAN’?!?!” Maki shouted. Heads were starting to turn in their direction.
“ Nee nee Shako, you know him? Is he your boyfriend?” Hiroto started to poke at Shako’s side with her elbow, eyeing her suspiciously.
“No Hiro he’s not my boyfriend,” Shako sighed. She was trying to ignore the fact that she had at least 20 pairs of eyes on her. “Guys this is Arioka Daiki, he’s my FRIEND,” she stressed the word. “Remember Chisa and I told you? He’s the one who found my wallet a few months ago.”
“OHHHH” They both answered.
“So Dai-chan why are you here?” Shako’s attention turned from her two friends to Daiki.
“I wanted to bring you to a special place so I decided to pick you up from school. Let’s go.” Daiki started walking.
“See you Hiro;Macchan!”
“Oi OSOI*! Come on! I want to get there BEFORE the sun sets.” Daiki was impatient and grabbed Shako’s hand to pull her along. She willingly followed with a blush on her face as his hand was around her wrist.

“Dai-chan where are we going?” Shako asked for the nth time.
“You’ll see, we’re almost there.” Daiki had the same answer every time she asked. “Ah here it is!”
They came upon a meadow. It was like an endless sea of green. There were small flowers scattered across the field and spotted the green meadow with bits of colour. It was getting closer and closer to the evening so the sun was slowly setting behind some surrounding trees. Even though the warmth of the sun was fading away, the meadow was still warm. It was a breathtaking sight.
“This is my secret place. I found it when I was six and I’ve been coming here ever since. I wanted to show it to you. Be happy, you’re the first person I’ve ever brought here.” Daiki left Shako’s side and ran into the green. He plopped down onto the grass and lay down with his arms behind his head.
Shako walked over to Daiki and stared down at him. “Ah it is pretty here, I can see why you like it so much.” He wasn’t looking at her. Instead, his gaze was focused on a point in the distance. Daiki suddenly sprung up and ran towards what he was looking at, leaving Shako standing there all alone. She was extremely confused until she saw Daiki running back towards her at top speed. He suddenly stopped right in front of her with his hand outstretched. In his hand was a daisy. “Here. I found this.” Daiki was smiling brightly. He didn’t think there was anything more behind his gift than it just being a random flower. Shako on the other hand thought differently and started to blush furiously. She took the flower anyway but immediately turned around to hide her face. Shako held onto the flower and they watched the sun set together.
Being the nice person that Daiki was, he walked Shako back to her apartment.
“Ja nee~” He turned around to leave.
“Ah…Yeah…see you tomorrow.” Shako watched Daiki leave until he turned the corner. Just like the day when she first met him, she closed the door, slid onto the floor and was twirling the flower in her hands.
A/N- gomen...i keept writing such short chapters!!! I promise that they get longer later on...at the moment..i'm in the midst of writing chapter 11...
I got distracted by Koishite Akuma.... did anyone realize that all the characters wear BRIGHT ORANGE CROCS? It;s the scene where they wake up and do radio exercises. I seriously burst out laughing when i saw it...i mean who couldn;t? Theyre so...orange O_O
I want to order Akuma na Koi/NYC boys limited B edition...but i'm broke...maybe i'll float a loan from my sister...
