Life is full of small regrets and missed opportunities. I'd like to have seen an LotR film trilogy co-directed by Zhang Yimou and John Woo, filmed in China, with a score by Tan Dun, and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai as Aragorn. I'm fairly certain that I've voiced that last wish before. And Takeshi Kaneshiro could be Elrond.

So would I. Fortunately, it runs in my head from time to time. I'm not sure about Arwen or Eowyn because I don't share Zhang Yimou's taste in women.

The older Takeshi gets, the more interesting he looks. He was great in Red Cliff. If you ever get a chance to see it, be sure that it's the complete version. Accept no substitutes! Tony looks great when he's unkempt and he cleans up real nice. :D
